Chiropractic Care Summary

Chiropractic Care Summary

Many successful sought out chiropractors are a testament to their work; such as with Dr. Leonard McGill DC and Dr. Gerald M. Silverman DC both who later wrote beautifully written and helpful books so the average person could learn more about the importance of caring for the back and the spine. Each illustrates some of the basic follow-up programs that chiropractors may recommend for home care. Emphasis is placed in asking first your personal provider for not all of the exercises apply to all individual cases but serve for basic understanding.

General Summary on Chiropractic Medicine

B.J. Palmer (1882-1961) lived a full and interesting life, bringing relief from suffering to many. His dream of teaching chiropractic so that others would learn, benefit and spread the word became a reality. Chiropractic survived thanks to B.J. and today Chiropractic is the largest natural healing profession on the planet. His simple more natural formula towards health worked. He dedicated years and thousands of hours in research about the human body and musculoskeletal system. His Palmer School of Chiropractic held the largest osteological bone collection for research and study in the world. His wife also became a chiropractor and taught at the school. Today’s growing need for treatments accompanied by cost effectiveness in medical care; has caused once more for the field to receive great notice. The formula of allowing patients to take an active role in their path to wellness, assisted by the chiropractor hands on approach; along with the human body’s ability to heal without masking symptoms ensured its lasting success.
